Following a detailed trend analysis and brand audit of Stella McCartney, key challenges were identified surrounding slowing growth, declining performance, and the gradual closure of physical retail spaces. While the brand has established strong credibility in sustainable luxury, changing consumer expectations and market pressures highlighted the need for a more scalable and future-focused business model.

In response to these findings, this strategy proposes “Stella Labs” - a B2B innovation and licensing division that leverages Stella McCartney’s long-standing expertise in sustainable material innovation and research. This strategy aims to create new revenue opportunities while reinforcing Stella McCartney’s premium positioning, ensuring the brand retains exclusivity by reserving its most advanced innovations for its core luxury collections.
